Manga? Manga!
Yesterday I was out shopping with my mum, my nana and my stepgrandmother Yvette. We were going to go into town, but because the weather was absolutely terrible, we went to the Trafford Centre instead. It turned out I was the only one who really did any shopping - I had a load of gift cardy things from Christmas and my birthday. But mainly, I got some new Manga books. I like Manga. Dunno why, but I do, and it's becoming a sort of craze at school. I mainly collect Fushigi Yugi (Yuu Watase) .Hack (Rei Izumi/ Tatsuya Hamazaki) Loveless (Yun Kouga) PhD (Son Hee-Joon) and Negima (Ken Akamatsu - of 'Love Hina' fame) but I pretty much go for anythign which looks good. Like yesterday I found another series, 'Gakuen Alice' about people with superpowers (Tachibana Higuchi) and the first book is quite good. I don't have room to collect alot, but I also read the famous series 'Fruits Basket' (Natsuki Takaya) which is big in America. Occasionally, I try creating some little Manga books, but at the moment I'm just practicing the style. I'm getting good at it now - I just need to work on proportion and making clothes look 3D. I pretty much like most things about Japan, and I'm very slowly getting my head round the language (Konnechiwa, watashi no namai wa Issy desu. O genki desu?) though I'm nowhere near fluent. Give me 10 years!
